Nelda's Yoga Studio is a yoga studio  and holistic health center in Nokomis, Florida. Our goal is to help you find comfort, strength, flexibility, peace, and healing through yoga practice. The most important thing to wear to a yoga class is something that you can move easily in. Many people like to wear semi-form-fitting or form-fitting clothing. Our yoga poses involve standing, sitting, stomach-down, and lying flat on our backs, and even sometimes upside down. Form-fitting clothing helps to keep our tops and bottoms in place during standard and fluid yoga movements.

Not usually, but if you have serious health issues it might be best to meet with your doctor before starting a class or routine at Nelda's. This will help us both to know if there are any limitations to your movements.  It's best for your doctor to state if there are any positions that you should avoid. 

Our address is 221 South Tamiami Trail, suites 233-235 in Nokomis, Florida. We are on the east side of the street, south of Albee Road. We have plenty of parking and are handicapped accessible.
